CSI focus on reducing overall energy costs

The client's need:

Prices for ingredients and transportation were escalating, and our client was looking for a way to maintain profitability without raising his prices. Solutions were constrained. It was economically infeasible to replace all equipment or undertake extensive retraining of current employees.

How CSI solved the client's problem:

After carefully considering a variety of solutions, CSI decided the fastest way to increase profitability would be to focus on reducing overall energy costs. By updating seriously inefficient automation equipment and controls, we were able to reduce the client's "per unit cost." Training to use the new equipment was minimal. The client was so pleased, he decided to expand our solution site wide, realizing even greater savings.
