New hub software for leading international package shipper

The client's need:

Small package distribution hubs had been traditionally done by a large single source supplier who furnished a turnkey solution. The client desired to build a system using the "Best of Breed" for each type of equipment used in the distribution center. The challenge was how to integrate equipment from multiple, often competing vendors, into a single system. It was imperative to maintain the same look and feel of the control system from an operations and maintenance standpoint.

How CSI solved the client's problem:

Control System Integrators developed a non-threatening technical relationship with each equipment supplier. By employing this team approach, we developed an overall integration plan that maintained vendor's proprietary information. The fact we are able to effectively team up with several vendors at once was instrumental in the overall success of the project.
